The Village Temple has served the reform Jewish community in Greenwich Village and lower Manhattan for 70 years. Our congregation is inclusive, progressive and diverse, reflecting the community we serve. We've operated a Soup Kitchen for more than 20 years, that serves approx. 150 people a week. The Temple also sponsors a vibrant religious school for students in grades Pre-K through High School, exciting adult education programs, and many enjoyable social events.

At the Village Temple, our members support our community through dues, tuition and Tzedakah - donations. Together these financial resources and hundreds of hours of volunteered services make it possible for us to continue and expand our activities: repairing the world, teaching our children, comforting those in need. Your charitable support helps us sustain our sacred community and helps you fulfill the mitzvah of Tikkun Olam - repairing the world.
